What's included with our stay?

Moonridge Family Lodge is 3 bedroom, 2 bath with a small sleeping loft.  The home is a little under 1,800 square feet on a nearly 1/2 acre lot.

The sleeping arrangements include:

  • Master bedroom (downstairs): Queen bed
  • Upstairs bedroom 1: Queen bed
  • Upstairs bedroom 2: 2 twin beds + 1 twin trundle bed
  • Loft: 1 twin bed

Our full kitchen is similar to what you have at home, with a full size fridge/freezer (with ice maker), full size gas range, dishwasher, wine refrigerator, and large sink with garbage disposal.  In addition to full sets of silverware, dishes, glasses (including wine glasses), and cookware, we provide a toaster, blender and coffee maker.

We do our best to provide some basics, like coffee, sugar, condiments and spices, and we ask that if you finish something in the pantry or fridge, that you replace it for the next guest.  Our cleaning crew doesn’t always notice when a condiment or supply is missing.

Plastic plates and cups are also provided for your little ones.

We provide all the towels and linens!  When you arrive, the beds will be made with freshly laundered sheets.  Plenty of blankets and comforters are also provided.

There will be a clean towel for every member of your family, plus extras in the linen cabinet.

We’ll set you up with toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent pods and dishwasher pods that should last your entire stay.

While we can’t offer the exact same amenities as a traditional hotel, hand soap is provided in all bathrooms, and each shower has body wash and shampoo.  If you have specific needs or sensitive skin, we recommend bringing your favorites with you.

Unfortunately, we don’t have clothing, boots or skis available.  A snow shovel can be found in the garage, and there might be a sled or two for snowplay (at your own risk).

Tell us about the amenities

We have a little bit of everything.  Toys and games for young children are found in the upstairs loft and closet, and adult games are available downstairs.  There are also lots of books for every age all around the cabin.

Each year is different.  Sometimes there’s snow before Thanksgiving, other times it doesn’t snow until after New Year’s.

If you’re coming to ski, you’ll want to check the websites of Bear Mtn and Snow Summit for their conditions.  Other than that, it’s up to mother nature.

We have 4 ROKU smart TVs (55″ in the living room and 32″ in the two queen bedrooms and the pool table room).  You’ll be able to log into any of your favorite streaming services (hulu, netflix, youtube tv, etc) or watch free streaming channels on Pluto and the Roku app.

We also have a bluray player in the living room with a collection of DVDs and bluray discs.

Instructions will be emailed to you a few days before your check-in date.  They will include your unique keyless entry code for the front door, the wifi login information, and complete instructions for using all of the amenities.

While we (the home owners) live in Los Angeles and are not always available, we have a local manager who helps maintain the property, and can be there within minutes to help with any issues.  Her contact information will be provided in the check in packet.
